Hi,

Brand new to the forum and to potential Subaru ownership. Anyone in Colorado have any luck getting the ASPCA discount? Did not see CO on the master list. Thanks.

John
John,
Since nobody has looked into Colorado yet, I'd just do what I did in CA. Used google maps to find the closest dealers to me and asked through the contact us form. While it's hit or miss on them accepting, I'm sure you'd find a couple if you messaged a handful of places.
Good Luck!

what is the vip pricing?
2% below invoice for a $500 donation to the ASPCA. You become a (founders member). A basic Limited MSRP's for $39,970. Invoice is $37,389. 2% below invoice is $748. So you buy this wonderful car for $36,641 (with NO options) I had to call several dealers to find someone to honor the program (they are not required to). I think it is the only way to go!!! And you can go to a near by state if you want to.

Good Luck!

I had two local dealers offer me 3% below invoice with very little haggling, no need for VIP. I suggest calculating 3% below - call and ask to speak to the sales manager, say you're ready to buy for 3% below. Two dealers couldn't compete, 2 were happy to make the sale

Just bought a Touring (Crimson Red) in Raleigh, NC for 2% under invoice using the Pennsylvania Horticulture Society VIP pricing at Johnson Subaru. No haggle, no fuss!

Cross Creek Subaru in Fayetteville, NC does not participate in the VIP pricing program on the Ascent due to popularity of the new vehicle.

Miller Subaru in Lumberton, NJ accepted VIP with no problems, 2% below invoice and accepted my old Subaru via GTP.

Highly recommend them if your are in the NJ area.

Huffines Subaru in Denton, TX - NO, at least for Limited and Touring "due to limited availability".

Got my Subaru Ascent from Jason Schoch of Heuberger Subaru with a great deal in 10/2018

Were you able to find a dealer in Dallas that would honor the VIP pricing instead? If not, I know that Gillman North in Houston will honor it even with limited availability. They had non in stock and I picked a Touring out of the ones they already had on order.

No, I'm actually in OK so I'd rather not drive that far. Headed up to Colorado Springs in a month so if nothing else I might hit up Heuberger; I've heard good things about it.

I fly to Colorado Spring, it is so far but he give me great deal. Try to contact Jason Schoch, you will get surprising price.

Napleton Subaru in Rockford IL will accept VIP pricing. Just ordered a limited last week. Both the sales manager (Todd Tifft) and my salesman (Matt Vincent) were great. Super easy and pleasant experience. Would highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area.
