Wow, so sorry I missed this... here's how, for all Ascents with the full color MFD (those without need to be set by the dealer).

Yes, sadly, some of the 2022 Ascent Limiteds don't have the full color display. Alas, as far as I know, it requires a dealer to change it if you have that display.

If you do your own maintenance, that's a great place to record it, as well as to see dealers services done, but, it's not linked t the maintenance reminders.

 

digging this up....I WAS going to change oil on my '22 Premium today. My first time doing myself this Subie....I normally do all maintenance on my cars, but 2 surgeries over the last 2 years have sidelined me from wrenching. Anyway, I'm back in business - and realize there's no oil change reset on this car? Man...if that's true, well that's a major bummer.
Might as well just have the dealer change oil as I'm not just going to stop in to have them reset the light.....and I'm sure as hell not driving around with a dummy light on for the rest of it's life lol.

It's not true. The indicator is a static setting. You can use it or not use it. I don't remember what the process was on the MY19-22, but...it's in your manual. Get the PDF versions from Subaru dot com and you can actually search them.

 

I would hope that the Premium has a way for you to Address the feature...'hopefully, someone more familiar with that trim can help.
