I purchased the all weather mats from for $93.76 ,I believe$...103.75 with shipping, no tax.......I received them a few day ago and them seem very nice....It is a 4 piece set....
My dealer is charging MSRP so these are a little cheaper than that...for me...
So nothing for the 3rd row with this set?

One question I have, is do you still get the default mats if you get the all weathers?

I like the liners. After 7 years+ of ownership in my Outback, I'm noticing some stains and discoloration in the driver's carpeting (around the pedals, etc.) which appears to be salt-like, probably from the winter months. I hit it with a Bissell last summer, and I'll probably do it again when I give it the yearly once-over detailing. But, I do wonder how the floor is looking underneath from all that moisture.

My Outback came with the all-weather mats, but if I was buying today, I'd consider the WT liners. They're a little higher up on the sides than the Subaru liners. I appreciate how the OEM liners have a lip - and I like the "softness" of the rubber that the OEM ones have compared to the WT liners, but I like the WT ones more because they actually go up a few inches on the side to prevent the said carpeting issues I mentioned.
That is exactly my opinion about Weathertech. The Subaru all weather mats are nicer than most, BUT as you said, the side of the carpet is not covered as much with the Subaru mats. If you want to protect your carpet, purchase the Weathertech or something similar like Husky.

The new liners are supposed to have the raised walls similar to WT and are a different option than the old style rubber mats

Can anyone who has received their Ascent comment on this? Many of us ordered the floor liners, so this will be very helpful info! /forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

I saw the floor liners today and yes they do have a raised lip. They were nice, flexible and covered the floor in all rows well. Glad that I ordered them!!

There is a 3/4" lip around the liners for the front seats. The ones for the second and third row are pretty flat.

Here's some pics of the mats. Yea you get both sets if you order the all weather ones. Also in the pictures is the rear seat protector and cargo mat.

Thanks for posting here! I was just about to link to your post on NASIOC. The black paint with black leather looks sharp! (and nice WRX!)

I actually switched my all weather mats to the carpeted mats since it's "summer" ... I have to say, I actually like the feel in comparison. My feet don't feel so far "up" anymore on the carpet.

It's funny, as a kid, I preferred riding in our car that had the carpeted floor mats due to creature comfort. My folks also had a 94 Explorer with all weather floor mats. Now as a parent, I would love to go with the carpeted floor mats (I have two brand new sets from my 15 and 16 OBs in my basement), but with mud in the summer/fall and all the elements of the winter I always use the all weather mats.

Reading this post, I may go with the carpeted mats off the bat.

Yeah, that was kind of my thing. If I knew I was going somewhere outdoorsy I may use the all-weathers, but I'm hoping to also extend the useful lifetime of the mats too. Unfortunately you can't buy them individually so you'd have to buy a whole set if you've worn a hole through one of them (I have)
