Starlink Remote Services

I'm confused about Starlink, the free app download and what it does for me, and the paid version and what it does for me. Is there a chart or list comparing them somewhere?

Also, I see people in the forum mentioning that you can get remote start with Starlink instead of buying the actual fob. How does that work?

Finally, our salesperson showed us a photo of an Outback that one of his customers had been in that had been in a horrendous wreck. The driver, a teenaged girl, got out with only a single injury--her thumb sprained because something small in her lap [I think?] got thrown against her thumb by the airbags.

His story--that Starlink [I think?] was talking to her within seconds of her wreck, telling her that they'd already called the cops and they were on the way, and asking about her physical condition, etc. Is this part of what Starlink does if you pay for it?

Also, as a side bit, the reason he was showing us this and telling us about it was so we could see the damage [wow, how did anybody come out of that alive?] and explain that all the various airbags had cushioned and saved her. The cops showed up talking about dreading about looking inside, even as they rushed to see if the occupant/s needed help. Nobody was there. It took the teenaged girl several tries before she could get their attention and tell them that she was the driver and she'd hurt her thumb. LOL
