Finally able to post. Picked up the car on the 26th of January and had snow tires and wheels ready to go on. I haven't gotten many pics since the weather has been nasty since I bought it and I haven't had time to clean it up, but I am loving my snow tires! 18x8 wheels with Blizzak DM-V2 tires. This thing is a tank! We've had freezing rain, an ice storm, multiple 6+ in snow falls and 30mph winds along with this snow and it has barely felt slippery. No comment on gas mileage, I'm waiting for some decent weather to be able to evaluate that.

I am curious as to what pressure you are running your 18" DM-V2 tires. I have my 20" DM-V2s on the car at the moment and I was not as happy as I should have been with their performance. Don't get me wrong, they worked and got me where I was going, but I wanted more. The tires seemed sluggish so I went back to Costco for an air check. They were reading at 33.5PSI, so I bumped them up to 36PSI. They felt better on the drive home. More snow conditions to come in the next week and will report if my opinion has changed.

Thanks for all the pics so far. I am looking to see pics of 18” wheels with no lift and stock sized tires but something in a black wheel. Thanks in advance.
18” TSW Chrono 18x8.5 40+ on 245/60/18 Terraincontacts

No lift (for now), no rubs, tires are quiet and no mpg hit. Pricey tires though ?

What's the load rating on the STI wheels?
I'd check on that.

The SR series is 1,719 pounds static load rating. Many of the BBS STI branded ones are lower load rating since the STIs are a lot lighter.

..and one shouldn't confuse "fit" with "work" or some other word. There was the one person on here who could "fit" wheels which were load rated for a WRX but no where near the load rating on the Ascent. Haven't seen any posts since then. I hope things are OK for him/her. Be a shame to spend all that money and be stuck with something that "fit" but didn't "work".
How much do the wheels for the ascent need to be load rated for?

Who makes Vision Cross and how much where they?. They look great.
Thanks. Vision is the company, "Cross II" is the model. I got them at Discount Tire, $114 each. When I looked at their site yesterday to pull some specs for posting, I noticed that they no longer show them in black, only silver. There are several other black rims I've seen that have very similar designs. Just need to make sure that their load rating is at least 1800.

I've been running them at 32psi. We've had a record setting winter for snow and I have had zero traction issues with these tires.
