I read this article this morning and couldn't help but thinking will a turbo FA24 fit in a BRZ?

What are your thoughts: will it fit, with or without the turbo, will they even put the FA24 in there?

Besides my first remark, my other thoughts are how the size and weight of the whole unit with the turbo may throw off the car's balance, making it front heavy. BUT that small of a car with 260hp and 277torques would be a blast to drive!

The engine would definitely fit. The 2.4 is not a large engine. They took the FA20F and increased the bore from 86mm to 94mm for the size increase. The overall size of the engine is about the same.

So we already know that the BRZ can take a turbo in the engine bay on the NA FA20. This is very feasible. If the FA24 happens it also makes it very easy to tune larger power numbers.
