I live in Las Vegas and am considering an Ascent Touring. How do the ventilated seats perform during hot and dry weather like a Vegas summer? Do they actually make a big difference? Thanks.

Ventilated seats can be very helpful in any hotter climate. The extent of the effect will depend upon the fabric covering your body, but I used it quite a bit while traveling in my Grand Cherokee. I'm glad I'll have it on my Ascent, too. Never underestimate the benefit of moving air...

It works so-so. It's definitely better than not having any ventilation at all, but it doesn't work as well as systems I've had in Lincoln, Mercedes, Toyota or Volvo. Plus, the fans are ridiculously loud when they are running. I thought there was a problem with them, but the dealer said there was no issue with them.

Ventilated seats in Florida

90 degree days in Florida, the ventilated seats work well. They keep your back cool. My fans are not noisy.

I think they work well, they keep me cool on hot days here in Denver. I don’t think the fan is any louder than on our Porsche Macan.
