I'm switching out the 20" wheels/tires on my Limited for 18". I've ordered a set of Vision Cross II's but the guy at Discount Tire told me they have a set of the exact same size Liquid Metal Shadow's in stock that he'd make me a deal on (I could get the Liquid Metals for ~$40 less than the Vision's when they're normally $100 more). I like the fact that the Vision's have a 2100 lb tire load capacity compared to 1800 for the Liquid Metals. Just wondering if anyone has experience with either and what your thoughts are. Appreciate any opinions. Links to the wheels I'm considering are below.

Also, going to be going with the Continental TerrainContact A/T tires. If anyone has any experience with those I'd love to hear them.

Thanks!

We may be a bit bias, but we think either one will look great!

FWIW, I'm partial to the Shadow , just bear in mind that this model is NOT directional, or in other word - left and right specific, so the spokes will face towards the front on one side of the vehicle and towards the back on the other.

As for load capacity, both models exceed the GAWR (y)

I run the conti's in 18s. Love the ride. Just be sure to cold inflate them to 37psi.

Of the 2 wheel choices, I would go with the Shadows as they are lighter. Also, not a fan of the center cap on the cross's and they look like "cheap" KMC's. But to each their own.

The Shadows look like they have only one lug pattern, which is a plus to me. Some images of the Vision Cross IIs have a "universal" lug pattern (10 holes) that IMO cheapens the overall look because of the two-pattern hole layout.

Thanks for the replies. Been looking at them and think I'm gonna go with the Shadows. The center caps on the Visions were bothering me too. Glad to hear about the Conti's also. Was a little concerned about the ride and road noise since they're a more aggressive tread pattern than the stocks but reviews for them look great. Thanks again.

Need assistance please.

I have a set of AG wheels laying around that are 20x10 +35. They seem to fit with a little poke about 2" and no inside rub but my issue is I haven't gotten tires yet. I'd like to go with 275/45/20 general grabber atx 3's. Anyone have any suggestions to see if I should go for it? Thank you.

Just realized I never circled back around and posted a picture after getting the new wheels/tires installed so here it is. 18” Liquid Metal Shadow wheels and Continental TerrainContact A/T tires.
Good choice. I've been eyeing that same set since reading about it in another thread somewhere. Do you have a lift?

I was thinking about downgrading the 20" wheels on my 2019. I was looking at the Liquid Metal Shadow 18X8 5-114.30 40 BKMTXX matched with some Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires from Discount Tire. Will these work without rubbing or needing a lift kit?

I am very biased towards the Liquid Metal Shadows, which @Discount Tire helped me with.
