Anyone here from the bay area had their trailer hitch installed with the dealer? Im getting quote for $700+ just for the installation. They said its a 3.5 hrs job. That seem steep just for installation. I know the hitch itself is around $380.

In the Bay Area also Usually got install only quotes of the hitch for around $500. Plus typically the full $500 MSRP for the hitch. That was one of the reasons we went with Subaru VIP Program and did an order on a 2020 Subaru Ascent Limited with hitch already included which is the -2% invoice hitch cost ($362.60) and no labor.

It's an easy DIY job, if you want to save a few hundred dollars.
