Wow. That looks like a good solution for at least the tail light portion of the rear chrome. I REALLY DISLIKE that Ford like application of rear chrome across the back gate to cover the seam. For 14 bucks, I'd certainly give it a try

I bought the ones that make the turn signals red. Eventually I discovered that I prefer the amber color better for its visibility to other cars, so they have been removed. I just wish the tail lights ended up looking like the concept vehicle’s. Those were great looking IMO.

The Ascent's rear blob tail lights are, in my opinion, the worst part of the Ascent, cosmetically. They're just homely looking - they wreck the whole rear-end of the vehicle, so I just try not to look at the rear, lol.

It'll be a sad day when Subaru refreshes in MY2022 or whenever and they fix the rear tails into something BA.
