Hey all, I got the Lachute pipe installed over 2 months ago now and I have been putting off getting the custom tune and I am going NUTS with the CEL on and all EyeSight stuff off. I have called all around Staunton VA to Richmond VA and no shop can/will do it. I have not called National Speed in Richmond as I will not work with them (they are morons and already ruined the car I race with).

Can people provide some suggestions for ANYWHERE around me to get my Ascent tuned?

This is unfortunately one of the issues a lot of people are starting to run into with the recent EPA crackdowns on illegal tuning. Also of concern to many tuners is the longevity of the CVT, I know the WRX with CVT crowd could not get anything over a stage 1 for a long time and then I think a few places started offering stage 2 conservative tunes. It is just a situation not many tuners feel comfortable with. I think someone here got a tune from Jr Barrios, I hope I got that right, he is pretty well known for tuning Subarus and he does visits to shops all over specifically for tuning events.

Resurrecting an old thread. I have a pretty heavily modified 2006 Forester XT that I've owned since 2006. So I've used many of the shops in the area and for tuning I've had fantastic results with Agile Auto up in Bel Air. Andrewtech doesn't tune (or at least they didn't when they built my engine with Wiseco forged internals). They've also rebuilt my5-sp
Agile's tuning was fantastic. Last I checked IAG didn't have their own tuner and would fly JR in every so often. (Again, this was the last I checked a few years back). IAG is IAG. Most folks know them and what they provide. I am considering going with an even bigger turbo on my XT and will go back to Agile if I do that. (Dominator 1.5XT)

So for repairs my go to:
Anything transmission or driveline related - Andrewtech (I had them rebuild my engine as well)
Anything tuning - Agile. I was going to have them rebuild my engine but they were backed up for 2-3 months
Suspension - IAG. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for more but I am a creature of habit
