I am in South Bay Area. I have two recalls on my Ascent and my service is due as well. Couple of questions:

1. Is it advisable to get the recalls and regular service take care of at the same time? Or does it make sense to keep the two separate?

2. Which dealer in South Bay or Peninsula area has the best service? My experience with Serramonte last time wasn't particularly great!

I'd really appreciate some advise.

Thanks.

I had the TCU, ECU and 18,000 mile service all done together about a month ago. They didn't have the PCV parts yet so that was another appointment.

get it all done at the same time. Have them provide a loaner so you are not inconvenienced at all. I am not in your area so I can not offer up any dealer suggestions.

I went to Diablo Subaru in Walnut Creek out of convenience. I dont have too much negative to say about the work they did. They got the job done but their customer service wasnt the best and I didnt like how close they parked the cars that were ready for pick up.

Carlsen Subaru in Redwood City and Santa Cruz used to be the best dealers to take your cars but I'm not sure if that still stands true.
