Did the emblems come off easily?
Guess we know who that Ascent belongs to - by the curtains hanging in the garage. Nice looking car.
Can I ask why you always debadge? It's odd it didn't come with one!Mine didn’t have the Touring badge but it is Touring (double checked VIN on Subaru website and the sticker says in addition to the car having all the Touring features) so we had them order them for us- not to put on because we always debadge our vehicles anyway, but in case we resell can slap them on then. Mine is in the shop getting interior treated but will get a pic for you tomorrow if I get it back in time but honestly, I feel it is one of the best color options for the interior. I had initially ordered the blue but I think the gray is a better choice for us. It is so rich looking and complementary without competing.
We like the cleaner look and feel like it’s not really anyone’s business. LOL This one is different, we agreed, since the Ascent is so new it wouldn’t be right to debadge right away (gotta help share the love) but our truck had so much chrome all over it it was ridiculous. We took it off and set it aside in case of resale. On my husband’s FJ he just blacked it out with plastidip and that worked well with the other black accents. Just a personal preference on look, really. Now to schedule tint for the side windows (provided she really finally comes home today- they did a crap job on the crap sealant we bought from them so they are redoing it). So fun!Can I ask why you always debadge? It's odd it didn't come with one!
Anytime @Tigers196884 !Thanks again to Trashfo for posting the pics of my Ascent above. Deep rich colors that go really well together.
The interior is the shade shown with the door closed. Great build and ride quality. Super happy with my first Subie!!
Mine came off quite easily. I just sit the backend out in the sun to warm it up. Get some fishing line and "saw" behind the emblems. If it is warm enough, most of the glue will come off the paint. For what is left, I use liquid clay. Then a quick spot wash and wax the area. All told you can be done in 5-10mins.Did the emblems come off easily?
