I became a Subaru fan while living in the snow belt area of Western New York. Bought our first Subaru (Outback) in 2002 and have been "hooked" ever since.
I, too, found that all wheel drive was just as helpful in torrential rains as in snow. We preordered an Ascent Limited the day that an e-mail arrived from Subaru stating that orders were being accepted. This will be our 7th Subaru ( 4 Outbacks, 1 Tribeca, 1 Impreza).
