The guys at TFL car posted a new snow tire video yesterday where they compared 3 brands of snow tires against the stock all seasons using an Outback on a steep snowy Colorado road.

To bad that only 3 companies sent them tires to test but it shows how much difference they can make regardless of the brand.

Exactly.

Without a more rigorously controlled setup (those who test tires - especially winter tires - maintain significantly more stringent testing setups: "real world" isn't controlled enough, by far, and it's way beyond "ice rink" testing...look at Test World [ https://www.caranddriver.com/features/a15102773/best-snow-tires-for-winter/ ]), the comparative "data" is rather meaningless, but this particular "test" illustrates what is actually MOST important for consumers to understand: that in wintry conditions, nothing beats having winter tires (and appropriate-for-use/conditions winters, at that, but that's a whole other story :tango_face_wink:).

Thank you for linking this very entertaining and informative video!
