Hello all, even though my user name is SubieNewby I do not consider myself that much of a newbie. I was just looking for a catchy handle and SubieNewbie was taken. My first Subie was a 2015 Outback 3.6r that I purchased in 2016 with around 14,000 miles. When I traded it in for the Ascent on Labor Day of this year it had only 67,000 miles. They did not give me such a great trade in value at the Toyota dealership where I found the Ascent on their used car lot. Likely if I had gone to a Subie dealer they would have worked with me, also the car I purchased would have been CPO. The Ascent is a '21 that was delivered in September of '20, and the first owner put 14,000 miles on it in one year; clean Carfax and no cosmetic issues. No problems so far after one month and 1,900 miles. I am satisfied with it overall. Mileage could be better but I have have been all over town, putting about 70 miles on it daily. Normally I drive 25 miles daily at the most.
