Sad day for me as my brand New Ascent Touring 2022 just a week old, which was parked in my drive way was hit in the middle of the night. Someone came crashing down the road (probably drunk) through the hedge/ bushes and hit the right rear side badly as the car jumped over the rocks lining the side of the drive way. I found out about it when I woke up in the morning. It was hit and run. I got the police report completed and Insurance Company was informed. The irony is I never had any accidents in all these years and it had to happen to my parked car.
The hatch was not damaged as I was able to open and close it using the hatch button.
Damage was basically concentrated in the rear right side where the car was hit, needing repair of the following:
RT Lower molding w/chrome strip, RT Wheel flare, RT Quarter panel, Rear body panel, RT Extension panel, RT Weather-strip. Speaker assy, RT Tail lamp, RT Lamp, A/M CAPA Bumper cover, Step pad, RT Blind spot radar from, Reverse sensor
Rpr - Unibody Pull
I can understand the damage to body but one concern was the mention of Unibody pull. It was mentioned in the supplement of record summary under miscellaneous operations as S01 Rpr under labor 4.0 F (Frame labor category). Does that mean the unibody was damaged or is a minor adjustment.
Thanks
