My butter fingers dropped a small socket in the engine bay. I heard to hit and roll on what I’m assuming is the under tray. Just feeling around I couldn’t find it. Is there a common point things roll to or a basic diagram on which clips are the correct ones to remove to get the under trey pulled down so I can get a better look where it might have gone?

If it was a 10mm then it was doing its annual migration. No harm no foul.

Otherwise I've noticed that these undertrays are held on by a few bolts. I've removed the two that cover the rear area to install some accessories. Fairly simple task for those.
