The radio in my Ascent turns on every time I start the engine. Is there a way to stop this "feature"?

Instead of turning it Off, turn the volume to 0, it will remember that, the radio always turns back on when the Ascent is started.

This was a real pain for me as well until I stumbled onto setting the radio to XM Radio's station #0. Fortunately XM's station 0 is empty so now it defaults to silence. Try it!

Guys, hold the power button until it turns off. It will stay off when you turn off/on the car.
