Question on Keyless entry

Our Ascent has the Keyless Entry and push button start.

One question on working that. I know that if it is locked, I just need the key fob with me, and when I go to open the door it will unlock the Ascent. My question is this--it seems like it only unlocks the door that I am standing at. If my wife is at the passenger door, it doesn't seem to automatically unlock her door.

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm sure it can be changed in the infotainment. Check the manual. I can't recall the page

Try page 28 and go from there. I'll keep digging

It can definitely be changed via the headunit, maybe even the cluster display. I have mine set on unlock all doors now, you can do driver, front or all if memory serves me.
It's in the head unit for sure. I can't remember if setting the unlock via button press or door handle is separate though.

Yes! You should be opening the door for your wife. :p

Also, if a key fob is close to the passenger side door it can be opened by grabbing the door handle the same as the driver side.
