I would definitely reach out to Primitive. They were super helpful when I had a question.

My recollection from installing the primitive skid plate was the duct had to be cut off the factory plastic splash guard and then bolted on to the primitive plate.

This is definitely true, but I think Joseph did that step, but is not seeing it mate up against anything when he eases the skid plate up onto the bottom of the vehicle.

Joseph- I probably should have been more clear that when I did this on my Limited, there definitely was a “mating up” of chalked to be seen. Not sure I can get a decent pic of mine now that it’s assembled.
