So I pulled the trigger and put an order in with Heuberger in CO to be delivered into FL.

I have asked for a purchase order or a receipt or something to document the fact that I not only put down a deposit but also the agreed upon purchase price. However, I was told that the email I received would suffice and that they couldn’t get me one until the vehicle is fully paid for and the email would suffice.

This doesn’t sound right. Is it?

Also, I have seen many folks talk about a VON. What is that and when did you get it?

Thanks!

They should absolutely provide you with a receipt for your deposit and the agreed upon price. The VON will show up after the order is placed. Apparently they deliver outside the 200 mile limit other dealers have talked about on this forum.

Contact your business manager for Heuberger and get a dealer signed purchase order from them. If it doesn't show your deposit and requested vehicle specs, ask again until they get one to you. The VON is a bit tricky for dealers who over-sell their allocations. They have to wait until Subaru says they are allowed to order more units before they can get a VON. That may take months depending on how far they've over-sold.

Is there something I should specifically ask for? I thought I was pretty clear on the request.

They mentioned 8-12 weeks to be delivered to their dealership and then another 14 business days after the paperwork is completed.
