I know the commercial says it's standard on the Subaru Ascent. Does this mean every model, or just the Touring because it has the front camera?

Standard on all models. I have a Limited and it loves to slam the breaks on when someone makes a quick turn in front of me or when I back into my garage at warp speed. You'll know it when it happens.

The front camera on the touring, although cool, only assists in giving the driver a view of what is low in front of the car. Cool for seeing parking blocks, curb cutouts, ruts or rocks off road.

The most recent edition of Car and Driver rated the Eyesight system in the Subaru Impreza better than the safety systems in the Tesla Model 6, Toyota Camry, and Cadillac CT6.

They did say none of the cars were able to completely avoid an accident when a car swerved in front of them from the side. Kudos to Subaru.
