Permatex Grey Cure time for PCV Valve

I'm planning on replacing the PCV valves on both my 2019 Ascent and 2016 Outback soon. On the helpful video that Robert.Mauro previously posted, I saw that he was using grey Permatex for the thread sealer. I've seen the same recommendations from other sources for it to be equivalent to the Threebond product that Subaru uses.

However, when using it to make a gasket, the instructions say to wait an hour before torqueing it, and to wait 24 hours prior to using the car. From what I understand, this may not be necessary when using it as a thread sealant on the PCV valve (I assume because of different exposure to fluids since it is on the threads and theoretically not under the same demands as if it was acting as an actual gasket).

Is this correct? Of if you use it on the PCV valve threads, should you wait a day before using the car? I know that there are other Permatex products that allow sooner use, but I assume that could be overkill if the grey one is adequate for this specific purpose.
