Just about to trade my 15 Outback for 20 Ascent. Outback has original Subaru all weather mats. Wondering if there is possibility that mats will transfer? 2 small mats for second row should work, obviously not exact, will cover less area in Ascent. Front driver side posts appear to be same spacing, just not sure about under gas pedal and brake. Passenger side, I notice Ascent has no posts so again, not exact fit, but maybe some coverage

No, not the same.

It's like $50 for the set of all weather mats, so just get the correct set. Any decent dealership would even throw them in for free if you asked them. Or do yourself a real favor and spend a few more Husky, Weathertech or Maxliner floor liners.
