I put about 18k miles on my Limited and the normal ride is very comforting. However, when driving over bumps in parking lot the front suspension just bottoms out so easily. I get a big thump, indicating that a suspension component bottoms out, at slow speed (eg. Less than 20mph) and it’s very annoying. I don’t have this problem on our 2016 forester limited.

Anybody else experience this? I never had this issue one bit on my 4Runner and I can’t imagine the off-road capability

I haven't had that problem off roading. I would have it checked out.

Some people had noise in the front suspension and needed struts replaced. Have it checked out.

I go over all the bumps without slowing down and it's never bottomed out.

Well, once when I was on a dirt side street after a big rain and was going a bit too fast for the big ruts. :D
