Vinyl trim "delete" from Premium Auto StylingCool, how did you do the black out?
Looks nice, but...We modify all our Subarus, new wheels and tires and blacked out chrome seemed a good start.
First on the wheels, with the exception of the Mozambiques, most BR wheels are much more heavy than other rims. Yours will run about 10lbs more per wheel than most aftermarket rims. I do not have a stock weight for reference. I wish someone could post it. BR rims also have an offset much smaller than stock (35 vs 55) so you have that to contend with. The 255/55 are a shorter tire. It's hard to say if the wider tire, but with a much smaller offset will rub. LP Aventure does claim that the 255/55 will NOT rub when using their 2" lift kit. Their rim was an 18x8.5 with a 38mm offset.I was thinking on putting these.

Just wondering if these will cause rubbing..
