I am looking at used 2020 ascent sold by dealers directly (their service loaner cars). I am in the Bay Area, California. They are all pretty firm on the price and are not open for any negotiation. They are all ranging around $36,000 with 3k - 5k miles on the cars. Need all the experts advice on whether it is fair price. Thanks!

Depends a lot on the options. My 2019 Premium with Hitch, RF radio upgrade was only $36k new.

Premium with the "Sporty" package has an MSRP of $39,665 without any accessories. You may very well be able to negotiate a brand new one for the same or less money than $36K, but it depends upon your local market.

I just purchased new Premium 8-seat one (with keyless star and rare power gate option, blind spot as well) , price is $33900. I think it is very good price. Dealer is Irvine Subaru, I also traded in my 2019 Forester (purchased from them as well).
