Latest update to mySubaru app loads the screen, at top is a black bar with "Loading vehicle..." but vehicle never loads and none of the touch points are active. The app has worked just fine in the past.

Anyone else with the problem, or a solution?

I went on the Google Play site and sent an email to the developers, but haven't heard back from them.

Thanks,
JimB

Even their iOS version seems worse lately. I try to use the quick access menu to start my Ascent and it works about half the time lately. The other half it just sits on the loading screen. They do update it periodically so keep you eyes peeled for a new version

Go to setting, then apps and in My Subaru app go to storage and then hit clear cache, then reopen the app and enter our username and password...this is what I did and it works just like before. Good luck :)

I had to reenter my username and password on my iPhone, but the app is working for me.

App has been lagging for me for some time now, maybe two updates ago.

Can anyone remember under the climate controls being able to turn on the ventilated seats?

I think I remember turning them on remotely, but the option is not there. Or just maybe my mind is shot. 🤪🤪

That has not been a feature at all. Seat heating...yes. Ventilation. Nope.

Uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it typically clears up major update hiccups for most any app - regardless of platform.

Did the trick for MySubaru app for me.

By the time I could uninstall and reinstall and sign in I could just go start my ascent.
The app wouldn’t get past this screen this frosty morning…

^ I was able to successfully remote start this AM. I was late by a minute of my usual time, and requested it at 7:31 AM EDT.

I had trouble a couple of weeks ago when it was REALLY cold out. 🥶 Figuring that everyone must have been requesting it at around the same time and flooded the system with requests. 🤣

Coming from a few previous Subarus with the key fob enabled remote start, this type of frustration makes me wish for those simpler days...... until I remember that I could not remote start the car from inside my office, the supermarket line, the mall, the airport terminal, etc...... 😅

I believe these intermittent outages are mostly unrelated to the physical app (with some exceptions due to the app upgrade)...it's the "system out there" that's not communicating properly. I had a successful remote start this morning, but the push notification back to the app that the engine was started failed. to me, that means a communication error somewhere in the network, rather than on my end. The vehicle is in a "five bars" service area and my phone has both a high 5G signal and a high WiFI signal, the latter is Gigabit service but effectively about a half-gig due to the nature of WiFi 6 and the radio in the iPhone.
