My new ascent is at the dealership!

Not exactly a new member. But my next ascent is. We liked our 2019 ascent premium enough to do it again. I’ll be trading it in with about 71k trouble free miles. Dealer is installing a hitch and the grimmspeed lift before I pick it up next week.
Was driving by the dealer and saw the car carrier so I asked the kids if we should go see if

our new ascent was there, so we swung in and took a pic just for fun.

Congrats!! I'm sure that the new one will be very satisfying, too.

'Surprised the dealer is installing the lift given Subaru has, in writing, told them not to do that. (There's a thread about there here somewhere...)

Ah our 2019 . Just gave it a bath today. 27k and still good, minus that stupid cvt chirp that's annoying as hell.

Wheel Tire Car Land vehicle Automotive tail & brake light

Well the Grimmspeed trails lift got installed yesterday…. But for a kit that advertises maintaining geometry of stuff, it seems like there is a lot of positive camber in the back. I‘ll start a new thread after i talk to grimmspeed customer service tomorrow….

Did gain a lot of height though comparison pics of the lifted and another brand new stock height and my three year old

I saw the "My new Ascent is at the dealership" headline and just assumed it meant it was there for servicing something you are unhappy with. It was more jsmh fun to me reading it that way and thinking it was that, although it would be less fun for you. lol, Enjoy.

How does the CVT chirp compare, obviously Subaru says that's normal Subaru engineering lol? Kinda like the failed head gaskets on the older 2.5 Subaru Forester etc.. classy. So, Is it non-existent on the new? Did you hear it on your 2019?

I have read the 2019 has the chirp. According to R Mauro it is normal of is of no concern. Just think of it as a free hearing test.

Are you happy with the Grimmspeeds? It's on my agenda, and I'm curious how others like them after a bit of time with them.
