Hi All,

First off, thank you to the members of this forum. A great deal of information that convinced me the Ascent was the right vehicle for me and my family's adventures came from this site.

Immediately had the Liquid Metal Shift 18x8 wheels with Falken Wildpeak A/T tires added (future for sale post for stock Limited wheels and tires coming once I get a little more established around here).

Next things to go on are a hitch (huge shoutout to the thread that kept me from paying $1000 to have the dealer install that), crossbars, my Rhino Rack cargo basket, and a 3rd row seatback protector. Hopefully not too long after that the Primitive skid plates.

Congrats and welcome to the forum.
Are you planning on towing anything in particular now that you’ve got the hitch? Wheels look nice!

Welcome to the forums @Aaron,

It definitely sounds like you've done some lurking on the forums before signing up....

Nice wheel/tire combo too. And I see you managed to avoid the pre-drilling for the front license plate... Lucky.

Thanks. The wheels and tires turned out better than I event hoped.

The hitch is for a bike rack. Only thing I might tow, though rarely, would be a friend's small utility trailer.

I definitely lucked out on not having the front plate. They had to transfer it from a dealer in a neighboring state that requires the front plate so I had pretty much resigned myself to needing to find a fun plate for the front.

@Discount Tire See picture above that you requested in the 20" vs. 18" thread. I've put the Rally Armor splash guards on since that picture and my Rhino Rack X-Tray. The weather has been too crappy around here to get an updated picture though.

Welcome! Your car looks awesome. I have wildpeaks on my Ascent also and really like them. Great in snow and very capable in mud and sand. And not any noisier than the stock all season Falkens.
