Good day Ascenters! I have dumped approximately $4,000 into my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo in the last year and a half. The latest issue is a bad catalytic converter on the driver side. Is it my responsibility to disclose this issue to my dealer and potentially get much less for my trade??? I've been going back and forth on this for awhile.

Thankfully, I have my VIN and should be taking delivery of my Magnetite Gray Limited later this month!

Thanks for your feedback and ordinarily I would be willing to disclose but this just came to light after they gave me an initial trade offer. So I wasn't sure if that initial number is set in stone or if they could/would change the trade offer based on this change in condition.

I would say no, it’s going to auction anyway and they won’t keep disclosing it and will probably not even look at it other than to load it up and send it on... hahahahaha!
