I don’t understand why it’s only adjustable to one height only. My kids don’t need to be in car seats but also don’t need the headrest so high up.

That does seem kind of strange. I know for any adult to sit back there, the headrests need to be fully up.

If you really want the headrests to sit halfway up or so, how about some collars with setscrews or clamp or something like that? Of course if you do this the headrests will not lock into position if that is a concern for you.

Something like these, but find the right I.D. to accommodate the headrest shafts. of course...

Thank you for the tip. I’ll check them out, for now for my rugrats that sit back there I’ve used rubber bands to help them from sliding down when only at half height.
