I am happy that with my driving patterns I am at about 25,000 without needing to change the brake pads (as of the end of January I am at 9/32 or .28), no squeaks either. I am planning on changing the brake fluid in 2020 at the recommended interval of 30,000 miles (probably when I have the motor oil changed).

I made 52,827 miles on my original pads. I was at the absolute recommended limit when they were changed.

If I extrapolate from that chart, it looks like my brake pads will outlive me.

With most of us staying home for the foreseeable future, hopefully those lifespan rankings will be creeping up for all of us ( well, something good has to come out of this, might as well be brake pad life).
