Stain resistant does not mean stain proof.New to the forum here.
I like the light colored (ivory) cloth seats but worry about its state and color over time with kids.
Being spill proof, is it easy to wipe off with damp cloth? Any concern with stains?
Any recommendations @sloheim?As much as I like the look of the ivory seats... I seriously think I may buy custom seatcovers. I rarely let my kids eat/drink in the car, but I'm sure things will get filthy during the winter...
From what I've read, I'd recommend waiting for custom-made seat covers. It sounds like the side air bags are contained inside the seats, and they need the proper cut in order to allow the side air bags to deploy properly.Any recommendations @sloheim?
Will need something for when I go camping. I went with the warm Ivory with my Limited but know I will need some protection
Makes sense. Hopefully something comes out soonFrom what I've read, I'd recommend waiting for custom-made seat covers. It sounds like the side air bags are contained inside the seats, and they need the proper cut in order to allow the side air bags to deploy properly.
I have not found any that are custom-cut for the Ascent yet.
It appears that Subaru does offer custom seat covers for the second row. I think this is a fairly new accessory. From what I've read, I'd recommend waiting for custom-made seat covers. Glad you asked!!!Appears the seat covers are only for the eight passenger Ascent. We have the seven seat Ascent. Any Ideas?
