I have a hunting lease with an entrance that can be very muddy - particularly with the rains we've had in the past 2 months. There is one spot (which I avoided) that sank my Expedition to the axles the ruts are so deep.

I was worried that the 20" wheels and street tires would result in my having to tow my Ascent with my Polaris Ranger. :tango_face_surprise I still would like 18" wheels with more aggressive treads on the tires.

Here's a video of my exit from the camp. The sound in the video is much louder than it was in the car.

I took mine for a muddy road test too. Big 10' x 10' x 10" deep puddles and everything. Did a great job! Now I have to go get it washed!

Nice! Looks good with the brown on blue. I always like to drive around a while with the mud on to put a smile on my face as it reminds me of the weekend trip while driving to work.

I was torn with showing the mud or having a nice clean car again. Clean won. I just got back from the dealership - thank goodness for free car washes for life. I'll have to get it dirty again.

Have you noticed that there is no choice of "activity badge" for hunting or shooting in the badge of ownership? We've been robbed!

I just looked at their badges. They could sell me a 5th Subaru badge if they had one for hunting/shooting. I had a Brat in the 70's and my wife had a sedan in the 80's. When we married, we got her a 2000 Forester then a 2014 Forester. I guess my Ascent counts as #5.

Much of the Badges of Ownership selection is determined by Subaru owner suggestions, which then turn into a selection to be voted on by Subaru owners, which then turns into one or more going into production. They also sometimes rotate in and out.

There's also some specialty ones, such as the ones I have that only Ambassadors get to give out and the 48hrs of Tristate Charity Drive ones for us Subie Enthusiasts that do that big charity drive.

Anyway, short version is, enough people suggested a fishing one... :tango_face_wink:

Lol, wasn't me. I'm terrible at fishing. It was enough Subie owners though.

My friends and I are responsible for one of the special limited edition ones though (you can't get it from the site).
