I installed a dash cam that I pulled out from the Impreza we traded in. Ran the wires between the head liner and along the A pillar, be careful not to block the airbag. :tango_face_surprise other than that.. pretty simply.

Also, the tire air pressure was way high, 42 or so, so I aired them out and set them to 35 as that's the factory spec (cold).

I'll be installing one as well, will be my 4th dash cam install, but first vehicle that will have 3 cameras facing forward. Have you noticed any change from the Eyesight system? Wonder how wide those eyesight cameras are...

Nope, this is my second EyeSight system. previously was on 17 Impreza sport. Just tuck it far enough up so it doesn't get in the way of the eyesight cameras.

What power source are you all using?
I used one of these guys and tapped the towing 7.5AMP because I don't expect to tow anytime soon and I have a Silverado 1500 to tow if I really need some towing power. Enough power to supply the camera without it cycling. If you tap the audio, it would work too but if power isn't sufficient it will cycle on/off on your dash cam.

You can always swap out the 7.5 to 10/20, but i rather have it lower than higher in case..

What fuse did you use in the riser next to the 7.5? Thank you!
I used the one for the trailer, I figure it's the safest since I don't usually use that. I find that if you use it with another power supply that is drawing a lot, you could loose power to the dashcam and it will reboot itself. At least on my version.

You could always bump it up to 10A if you want, I just prefer the 7.5 cause it works.

Yes, feed the power wire under the airbag. There is a small passageway I used.
Is this in the B pillar? Can you describe how to open it up to expose this small passageway? Does pillar trim just pop off. My initial tugs with my trim tool were unsuccessful.
