Hi all,

Love my new Ascent and am excited to join the board.

I was #1 pickup at Albany Subaru (amazing experience with Jason there) in late June, a month earlier than expected!

It drives like a dream with much less roll/dive than I expected in a vehicle this size. Looking forward to taking it on many adventures to Tahoe etc.

I would definitely be up for a Bay Area meetup too.

Looks like there's a growing number of folk who are in the Bay Area! There's definitely interest in a meet from other bay area members. Let's give it a bit longer so more people can get theirs and we should start planning a meet.

Thanks everyone! Super excited to find this forum.


Last time I was on a car board was over a dozen years ago... this time around my mods will be much more sedate-- think front/rear cams, not short shifter & blow off valve.


Looking forward to getting to know people.

Ordered ours last Friday from Albany... now we play the waiting game. Seems like Albany is doing well.

It's my first Subaru from Albany but prev bought my Fusion Hybrid there. They're our go-to family dealer; all around great service. "Our" SA, Jason, is super responsive.



We may even have enough people to do an Albany Subaru "siblings" GTG-- would be pretty funny.

Albany Subaru has a good Reputation. If and when we buy they are at the top of my list. The giant Subaru Temples owned by outsiders in the Bay Area can go suck a tailpipe.
