Hi,

Long time reader of posts here, first time posting.

I thought that I'd post this here along wit the general section since I wasn't too sure as to what section would be best to ask this question in.

I've Android Auto installed in my Ascent and really like using it but sometimes I want to use the built in assistant for voice control functions. What's the easiest way to switch between the default assistant and Android Auto for using voice commands?

Thanks for any help

Unplugging your phone is the only solution I have found. The manual makes it seem like you can based on the word choice (press vs hold) but it really seems to be an editorial issue.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'll try both and see if the press vs hold works as well as just unplugging the phone. It would be way cool if the press vs hold actually switched between the two though.

Hi again,

I've turned off the Bluetooth autoconect option on my phone and that along with unplugging the phone got me to where I wanted to be.

Thanks again for the help
