Hood Bug/stone deflector

I don't think Eyesight likes bug deflectors

Sadly, Eyesight doesn't like bug deflectors, but, every now and then Subaru releases an ultra low profile one that works with the system. Sadly, there's none for the Ascent, but, emailing them may help prompt them to make one.

As an alternative, you could consider something like a so-called "clear bra" type wrap on the front to protect the finish without getting in the way of the safety features.

Agree regarding "Eyesight" I don't think there is currently a defector available either from Subaru or after market. Had front parts and hood wrapped with protection film including door cups. Sort of $$ but seems to be doing the job.

I installed the clear bra on my wife's 22 outback 18" up on the hood. I plan on doing the same or further up on my 23' Ascent. The material I am using is self healing.
