I'm so jealous I am not an American (Actually wait I am 1/4 American). I have a Forester 2005 XT SG2 and would love to buy a new Ascent but they will not release them in to Europe.

If anyone on here can help me Export one please can you let me know. I am British but live on Main Land Europe.

Please let me know the possibilities of getting my hands on an Ascent Any type will do.

Welcome! I'd be curious to know as well on how to go about this process. I've heard about our military folks buying cars in Europe and bringing them back home stateside, so I guess it could go the other way as well.

In all seriousness though it would be a nightmare to get it over there emissions shipping I am sure crazy taxes, and first you would have to get your hands on one here I am sure they will sell like hotcakes for at least the first 9 months.

Welcome to the forum Tom! Glad to see you're interested in the Ascent, despite the lack of availability in your region aha. I'm going to second the fact that it may be incredibly expensive and hard to export to Europe with Euro 4 standards.

I can appreciate your design to get an Ascent into your hands in your geography. It's a wonderful vehicle and I love mine. While you could conceivably purchase one here in North America and transport it over that big puddle, there would be big risks that would come with that action...lack of service/warranty support, a radio that will not tune the frequencies used where you are (not something that can easily be changed due to the level of system integration), no maps for the NAV, etc. Your money would likely be better served with a similar vehicle from another name that does sell and service where you live.
