Purchased an Ecoflow Delta Pro battery power station for off-grid travel trailering as part of Prime Day, and the 800W Alternator Charger product caught my eye as a way to charge the power station while driving to a destination (or sightseeing). Am seeing a few truck/van install videos on YouTube, but nothing for the Subaru Ascent (ours is 2021).

Does anyone have experience installing this add-on themselves, or through a Subaru dealer?
The body shop and mechanic I spoke to didn't want to touch it and referred me to a local car audio shop.

I am also interested if anybody has installed the EcoFlow 800W Alternator Charger in a Subaru Ascent. I have two EcoFlow Delta Pros and also a Delta 2. This looks like a great charging solution, and the price of the unit has come down substantially. I see no reason why this wouldn’t work in a Subaru vehicle, but it would be nice to know how the power cable should best be routed.
