I accidentally dropped the red battery cap into the gap between the battery and headlight (see photo below).
I can't see it or reach it. Will it cause any problems? I'm mainly wondering if anything down there might get hot enough to melt it.

I've had one of these for years. It's thin enough to get into tight places and works well. Mine is older and doesn't have the LED light, might need to "upgrade" for $11.....lol.
Thanks packout, good tool to have in the toolbox.
Only cost $3.99If you don't have a "gripper pickup tool" - go to Harbor Freight. they have the claw and also a magnetic one. I own bought so it must have been a bargain at one time.: Harbor Freight Tools – Quality Tools at Discount Prices Since 1977.
I've noticed that their prices have really gone up in the past year, especially on power tools. Probably a result of supply chain issues, higher transportation costs, etc. I read several years ago that the Chinese Govt subsidizes them.If you don't have a "gripper pickup tool" - go to Harbor Freight. they have the claw and also a magnetic one. I'd be surprised about that outside of their manufacturers being very happy with the growing level of sales. But I could be wrong about that. Eric Smidt, Owner and Founder, just published their annual donation to schools of $1.5 Million to high schools from The Smidt Foundation. They also have an award coming available for excellent trades teachers.I read several years ago that the Chinese Govt subsidizes them.
I like the funding he gives for those educational programs-we are still going to need people top fix things and he's done it for at least several years. He has also given very large amounts to hospitals, museums and other organizations.I'd be surprised about that outside of their manufacturers being very happy with the growing level of sales.
