DIY VIDEO: How to Remove Captain Chairs in Onyx Edition Limited Ascent

Hi all, first time posting! We just finished removing both second row captain's chairs for cargo space and for our dogs, I thought it might be helpful for others who were considering the same. It was incredibly easy, and only took about 6-7 minutes per seat to remove the plastic cover pieces, undo the bolts, unclip the heated seat wiring, then remove the chair itself while being careful not to scratch anything with the rails.

We recorded a video of the whole process and put it up on YouTube so we could share it around for others considering the same thing. Both of us worried it would be a huge, difficult process. We were pleasantly surprised, hopefully this helps anyone else not be intimidated by this. The extra space is worth it for us and the chairs go back in pretty easily if we need them.

It wont let me add the video as it's my first post, but I'll follow up with a comment if I'm allowed. It's just on YouTube.

Are you putting anything on the floor to keep your dog's feet from getting into the tracks and possibly causing injury or picking up grease?

If you're so inclined, you can purchase automotive grade carpeting and likely find something that will match almost perfectly. Its inexpensive for the amount you would require and you could install it on that piece of plywood with a basic staple gun.
Although the type of carpet used in the Ascent is more like thick felt and it's nearly impossible to remove dog fur from it.
