Hey Fellow Ascent'rs!

Random question for you.

I've debadged almost every vehicle I've had for who knows how many years, so I'm pretty comfortable with the process.

My Ascent came from the dealer with the wind deflectors on the windows and I absolutely hate them! Has anyone used a Rubber Eraser Wheel on the window "chrome"? Just curious of the durability and if I would completely shred it to pieces while getting rid of the 3m tape.

Lacquer Thinner will remove the adhesive without harming the chrome, paint or glass finish. In fact, I use it regularly to clean windows and wiper blades. Makes wiper blades like new; just keep wiping until no more black shows on the rag.
You can buy Lacquer Thinner at Home Depot.

But only use that laquer thinner outside...NOT in your garage. A safer alternative might be something like GooGone and a plastic scraper, even if it takes multiple efforts.
