I can confirm that there is a bump and an angle up from back to front when the third row is down. We viewed both the Limited and the Touring on display at the Chicago Auto Show yesterday morning.

While not ideal, it seems like there could be ways around this issue if the Ascent is otherwise what you want. Interlocking floor tiles can be bought in different thicknesses and cut to shape to raise the rear and/or middle section a bit. Those would add very little weight and would be easy to remove. A Thermarest (an inflatable one) or air mattress would hide small ridges or transitions between sections.

They also decreased the volume behind the 3rd row in the update- it had read "19.6", but now reads "17.8/17.6". The only other change that I noticed was that they updated the 2nd row legroom to increase by 0.1", so potentially correcting a typo there.

Interestingly, as of this post, they have yet to update the .pdf available via the "View a Brochure" link at the bottom of the page.
