Hello everybody!

I'm buying this car.. 100%.. This is what I've been waiting for from Subaru. First look at this car made my decision. Interior, exterior, size, mechanical side, price.. everything is inviting me to the nearest dealership ASAP. Here to see what people think of the masterpiece called Ascent

I am hopeful this will be my next car, also. I'm picky about seat comfort and the feel of the steering wheel, though, so really hoping the Ascent checks both of these boxes.

Lets hope your wait after putting in an order won't be too long, but there are rumors of the Impreza and Subaru Outback wagon eating into the the Indiana production plant capacity, meaning not as many Ascents are rolling off the line.

Same issue in Japan, too, can't keep up with orders. Crosstrek's are mostly sold out at dealers, and order wait time is 2 to 3 months. I think the Ascent will be extremely popular right out of the gate, so unless you order, might be looking at late 2018 for supply to catch up to the pent up demand. And good luck trying to negotiate a good deal. I think I may wait until 2019, if I buy one. Then hopefully, most of the new model snags will be worked out, too.
