Brakes pulsing again

I have a 2021 ascent. The brakes and rotors were pulsing at 10,000 miles and replaced with new design under warranty. Now at 20,000 miles it’s happening again. Anyone else have this? I’m a bit frustrated. Thanks!

I dunno but probably my car is unique! I have still the oem battery, brake pads and rotors with 40k on the odo! 2019 ascent

2019 pulsated early. Squealing. Front Pads and turned rotors first time. Next replaced front pads and rotors, under good will (still had to fight for it). Pulsating was fixed. For a few months we started hearing a releasing click sound from the right rear when pressing the brake pedal. We mentioned it while the car was in for the latest recall. The tech heard it too. After a few days with the master tech, pads and rotors were replaced under warranty. 51k on the odometer.

Lots of reading on this topic. We have the same issue.
With all the brake issues I read about. These is why I make sure I do these 2 things.

1) Since the car is still under warranty, I make sure and remind the service manager to have the techs use tq wrench on the wheels when they rotate them.

2) I avoid going through car washes if I know the brakes are hot.

So far, its working out ok.
What we have done was any noise or complaint about the brakes, we always have the service department check them usually when we are in for a recall or oil change. Most of the time, they will find the brakes to be good to go. Until they are not. The last time we complained about the brakes, they said the rotors and pads needs to replaced. Convenient that the warranty for brakes just expired and now my brakes need to be replaced. They had records of the number of times we felt like there was an issue and had Subaru replace the front brakes under warranty.

the carwash shouldn't be an issue. you're able to drive in the rain.

True, but there is a difference. If you are driving in the rain, your rotors are using its ventillated feature to cool it down. Car wash, you are stopped/rolling.

I know it should bot be a factor, but with all the brake issues some people having I considered it a factor (That's just me). Its working out so far with my Impreza Wagon and Ascent.
