any chance you unplugged one of the parking brake solenoids? seems like something was either damaged or unplugged. Did you try and clear the code and see what it does?
awesome. At the dealer now, should know when they get me info. Will update as I know more!
Interesting….. so it seems to be the rears are just moody? Does your tool have the ability to take it out of service mode?Similar issue with the dash lights. 99k for mileage. put new pads (2nd time) and new rotors (1st time) on the front a few weeks ago, no issues. had to replace the rear pads and rotors this weekend. used the Innova 5610 to place into brake service mode and changed everything out no issues installing. used the caliper tool from Amazon (8MILELAKE Disc Brake Caliper Compressor Wind Back Tool 24pc Professional Disc Brake Caliper Tool Set) to compress the pistons, went in more straight like old school piston rather then rotating in but worked, and buttoned everything up. brought brakes back online compressing pedal slowly thinking that would release service mode. ended up with all the dash lights and couldn't get them to turn off. did test drive to seat brakes and did not notice any dragging on the brakes. had a trailing vehicle to verify brakes weren't over heating so I didn't burn my Ascent to the ground. set up a service appointment online that night for Monday 5/22 to fix my grounding recall. mentioned to them my Christmas tree lights on the dash and they stated they would look at it with a fee for troubleshooting. waited about an hour in the lobby before service advisor came out, recall was taken care of, and they were able to take the brakes out of service mode and all was good, and no charge by the dealer to boot.
