Then it sits at the railhead for a week or so, because there aren't enough trucks available to actually bring all the cars to the dealerships...Then it gets dropped off at your local rail yard and the status will be updated to "At Railhead."
So... Indiana to Seattle >> Indiana to Michigan, last I knew.... :dunno:I ordered near the end of October and took delivery last Thursday. Being in Seattle might help. I'm guessing the cars might come in through Tacoma but maybe someone else knows better? Mine is also Abyss Blue Pearl which looks awesome!
You start in "Ordered" status until the Ascent is actually built and assigned a VIN. You then move to "Scheduled" until your accessories are added to the vehicle. Once those are added it moves to "Completed" status and its moved to Subaru waiting yard until it gets on the train. At that time it will move to "Shipped Rail." Then it gets dropped off at your local rail yard and the status will be updated to "At Railhead." Then a truck delivers it at your local dealership and the final update is "Delivered."
Depending on your dealership's internal policies your salesman may or may not have access to actual pipeline order system. The manager at the dealership will, but they aren't always the most helpful when it comes to providing updates to their customers.
Hold on. Is yours a limited, x23, hitch, warm ivory?I ordered near the end of October and took delivery last Thursday. Being in Seattle might help. I'm guessing the cars might come in through Tacoma but maybe someone else knows better? Mine is also Abyss Blue Pearl which looks awesome!
You didn't fully order your car. You may have chosen your options but there was already a similar model in your dealer's pipeline that Subaru reconfigured. This is what we were planning on as well. Sales rep. stated finance personnel should be contacting us soon, with a pick up of either Thursday or Friday.Cool! We ordered 10/9, ETA is 12/31, it has already shipped by rail, so we are hoping it is delivered sooner. It is a blue limited too!
We got ours Tuesday. Loving it too!We picked it up Thursday night! After the long wait, my wife anxious of how it will handle being larger than the '12 XT, we have reached satisfaction. Driving to and from work once, she loved it already! woo hoo!
